ABOUT DONNA
My love and compassion for animals and the community continue to grow
Hi I am Donna, and my love of animals started at an early age. I just knew I wanted to work with animals when I grew up. Before our family adopted our first dog, I would knock on neighbours' doors and ask if I could walk their dog to spend time with them. I went on to work in a business environment but always felt the pull of working with animals.
So... after I married, I became a receptionist at a local veterinary hospital and did some home boarding as well. Over the years I have volunteered with three dogs through St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program.
Currently, 25 years later, I live in a busy household with my husband, teenage son and our ZOO! Three dogs and three cats. Two of my dogs have been featured in The Dogs of Oakville New Beginnings in 2014.
My love and compassion for animals and the community continue to grow, in addition to my pet care services.

Up to 4 hours | Ideal for busy mornings, appointments, or shoter workdays

Full Day Care
Up to 8 hours | supervised play, outdoor breaks, rest time, and lots of love

If care is required beyond the scheduled half-day or full-day timeframe, additional hourly charges will apply

- Daycare on a Holiday add $10
- 30 min cat (1-3 cats) drop-in visit $15, additional cats $5 each
Tail Waggin' Notes & Extras:
- Pet transportation available
- Weight and temperament restriction apply to multiple dog walks
- Dog park visits require a waiver to be signed and the 1 hour rate applies
- Drop off and Pick up times must be agreed upon prior to booking
- No additional charge for administering medications
- For in home visits we can also bring in your mail and water indoor/outdoor plants

Do you walk multiple dogs at onece?
No, Walks are always one-on-one unless you request walks for multiple pets from the same household.

What areas do you service?
We provide dog walking services within our local service area. If you are unsure whether you are within range, feel free to reach out and we will be happy to confirm.

What happens in bad weather?
We ststill walk! But we may shorten the route, take breaks, or reschedule fi the weather is extreme. We will always kee your pet safe.

How do you get into my home?
We can keep a spare key, use a key lockbox, or follow any access method you prefer. Everything is secure and agreed beforehand.

My dog has separation anxiety. Can you help?
Yes - We will recommend the best type of care. Some pets do better with in-home overnights or staing with us (boarding).

Do you offer pick-up and drop-off?
Yes, in selected areas and for an addition fee. Just let us know your needs.

Can you give my pet medication?
Yes! We administer pills, drops, insulin, etc. Just leave us clear instructions.

What is overnight care?
An overnight stay means we sleep in your home with your pet - we handle dinner, bedtime care, and the morning routine.

Will I get photo updates?
Absolutely! We send a short message and a cute photo after each walk so you know how it went.
